What is Oracle?
Within the context of pricing, an oracle is an on-chain API for price. In other words, it tells you what the price of an asset is at a given time.
Furion's Oracle System
To keep the oracle's safety, we developed a tool to calculate the cost of moving Uniswap-like TWAP prices given the exact trading pair. Differently put, the average cost in an AMM transaction will determine the current price of the asset. If the slippage in the AMM transaction is negligible, Furion oracle will take the latest TWAP price.
To ensure the safety of users' collateral, and leave space for liquidation, we are establishing entry thresholds for lending pools regarding the depth of liquidity upon trading pair, which should be greater than 100 ETH.
